  • 1/4 cup(s) onion, chopped
  • 1 can pineapple rings or chunks, drained but reserve the liquid
  • 2 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 1/3 cup(s) green pepper, chopped
  • 1 pkg weiners, cut into chunks
  • 2 tablespoon(s) vinager
  • 1/3 cup(s) catsup
  • 1 can, (31 oz) pork and beans
  • 1 tablespoon(s) soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup(s) firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 can, chow mein noodles, optional

Beans and Weenies Waikiki Directions

  1. Cut pineapple into chunks if you bought rings, you can reserve a couple for garnish if you like. Saute green pepper, onion, pineapple and weiner chunks in butter. Simmer 5 minutes, add pineapple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce, catsup, and brown suger and heat til bubbly.
  2. pour pork and beans into baking dish, add pineapple mixture and stir gently to mix
  3. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve with chow mein noodles
