- 1/3 cup(s) green pepper, chopped
- 1 pkg weiners, cut into chunks
- 2 tablespoon(s) vinager
- 1/3 cup(s) catsup
- 1 can, (31 oz) pork and beans
- 1 tablespoon(s) soy sauce
- 1/3 cup(s) firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 can, chow mein noodles, optional
- 1/4 cup(s) onion, chopped
- 1 can pineapple rings or chunks, drained but reserve the liquid
- 2 tablespoon(s) butter
Beans and Weenies Waikiki Directions
- Cut pineapple into chunks if you bought rings, you can reserve a couple for garnish if you like. Saute green pepper, onion, pineapple and weiner chunks in butter. Simmer 5 minutes, add pineapple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce, catsup, and brown suger and heat til bubbly.
- pour pork and beans into baking dish, add pineapple mixture and stir gently to mix
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve with chow mein noodles
