I can this in 1/2 pints and give it away for Christmas with a loaf of fresh baked bread or a dozen rolls. Makes me very popular!

- 10 cup(s) sugar
- 1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
- 20 ounce(s) crushed pineapple, undrained
- 16 cup(s) (about 6 lbs) peeled, cored, and chopped pears
Pear Honey Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook until pears are tender and mixture thickens, about 30 minutes.
- Transfer to sterilized jars and seal while still hot, according to canning directions
