Recipe

  • 10 cup(s) sugar
  • 1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
  • 20 ounce(s) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 16 cup(s) (about 6 lbs) peeled, cored, and chopped pears

Pear Honey Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook until pears are tender and mixture thickens, about 30 minutes.
  2. Transfer to sterilized jars and seal while still hot, according to canning directions
