Sour Cream Pancakes

These have a very different texture than traditional pancakes. They are very light and tasty and even Dad likes them!

For 2 people ()


  • 2 tablespoon(s) sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 1 cup(s) sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 7 tablespoon(s) flour
  • 2 lg eggs

Sour Cream Pancakes Directions

  1. In a small bowl mix together eggs and vanilla, set aside
  2. In a separate bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt
  3. Add the sour cream to the dry ingredients til just combined, don't over mix. Whisk in the egg mixture
  4. Cook on a hot griddle with plenty of butter
  5. Serve warm with lots of maple syrup
