15 ounce(s) ricotta cheese
4 eggs
1 tablespoon(s) vanilla
1 1/2 cup(s) flour
1/2 cup(s) sugar
2 tablespoon(s) baking powder
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt

Italian Donuts Directions

  1. In a large bowl, beat ricotta cheese until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, beat until combined. Add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Beat until just combined. Let batter stand for 30 minutes
  3. Drop by rounded teaspoons into hot oil and cook for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Remove donuts from oil, drain on paper towels, cool completely, roll donuts in powdered sugar, granulated sugar or cinnamon sugar
  5. Makes 3 doz
