1/2 teaspoon(s) dried oregano |
1/4 teaspoon(s) garlic powder |
1 1/4 cup(s) water |
2 tablespoon(s) butter |
1 tablespoon(s) sugar |
1 teaspoon(s) salt |
1/4 cup(s) finely chopped pepperoni |
Pizza Batter Bread Directions
- In a bowl combine, half the flour, yeast, oregano and garlic powder. In a small saucepan heat water, butter, sugar and salt just til warm, stirring constantly to melt butter. Add to yeast mixture, mix well.
- Stir in pepperoni and add enough of the rest of the flour to make a moderately soft dough. Cover and let rise til doubled.
- Punch down, form into loaf, place in loaf pan and let rise about 40 minutes and bake at 350 for about 35 minutes.
- Remove from pan and cool
- Yield: 1 loaf
