Slow Cooker Beef Brisket

5 pound(s) beef brisket, well trimmed
2 teaspoon(s) minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon(s) pepper
2 large onions, sliced
12 ounce(s) chili sauce
1 1/2 cup(s) beef broth or water
2 tablespoon(s) worcestershire
1 tablespoon(s) brown sugar

Slow Cooker Beef Brisket Directions

  1. Place brisket fat saide down, in 5 quart slow cooker. Spread garlic evenly over brisket, sprinkle with pepper. Arrange onions over brisket.
  2. combine chili sauce, broth, worcestershire sauce and sugar, pour over brisket and onions. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours
  3. Turn brisket over, stir onions into sauce and spoon over brisket. Cover, cook until for tender. Transfer to cutting board, cover with foil and let stand at least 19 minutes before cutting
