1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper or chili pepper flakes |
1 tablespoon(s) water |
1/2 pound(s) chicken breast or thighs |
2 tablespoon(s) cooking oil |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1/2 teaspoon(s) minced fresh ginger |
1 cup(s) shredded cabbage, Napa preferred, you could also use bok choy or snap peas |
1/3 cup(s) shredded carrots, I like a bit more |
2 green onions, sliced |
1/3 cup(s) bean sprouts, I like a bit more! |
Chicken Chow Mein Directions
- Cut chicken into 1 inch chunks
- Mix together the oyster sauce, soy sauce, honey, corn starch, sesame oil, pepper flakes, water and salt and pepper to taste
- Measure out a 1/2 Tbs of sauce and pour in over the chicken, let this marinate for at least 30 min
- Just before you cook the chicken cook the noodles. You can use egg noodles, ramen noodles, thin speghetti, even rice noodles, whatever you like, just cook according to pkg directions and then set aside
- Heat oil in large pan, add chicken
