1 lemon cake mix |
1 yellow or pineapple cake mix |
2 cup(s) powdered sugar |
4 tablespoon(s) softened butter |
4 tablespoon(s) crisco |
2 tablespoon(s) milk |
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla |
1 pinch(es) salt |
Home made Twinkies Directions
- Mix the two cake mixes together according to package directions, but on the yellow cake mix use pineapple juice instead of water.
- Bake in cupcake papers according to package directions, cool completely
- For filling: Mix powdered sugar, butter, crisco, milk, vanilla and salt until light and fluffy. Fill a pastry bag with a large tip hole or use a squeeze bottle, poke cupcakes in the middle and squeeze filling in until small cracks start to appear.
