Nick's favorite birthday treat! Use fresh peaches when you can but a good canned peach will do in a pinch

2 cup(s) flour
3/4 cup(s) butter
1 cup(s) pecans, chopped
3 cup(s) powdered sugar
8 ounce(s) cream cheese, softened
12 ounce(s) cool whip
1 cup(s) sugar
1/4 cup(s) cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon(s) salt
3/4 cup(s) cold water, divided
1 cup(s) boiling water
3 ounce(s) pkg, peach jello
1/4 cup(s) lemon juice
4 cup(s) fresh peaches

Georgia Peaches and Cream Directions

  1. Combine flour and butter, add chopped nuts. Press into 9x13x2 pan. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool completely. Set aside
  2. Mix powdered sugar with cream cheese until smooth. Fold in cool whip. spoon on top of crust, pushing sides up a bit to make a slight well for peaches. Set aside
  3. Mix sugar and cornstarch and salt, add 1/4 cup cold water to make a paste. Slowly add paste to the boiling water, stir constantly 2 to 3 minutes. Then add peach jello and stir 1 min more
