1 German chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup(s) butter, melted
1/3 cup(s) evaporated milk
1 lb, caramels
1/3 cup(s) evaporated milk
6 ounce(s) chocolate chips
1 cup(s) chopped nuts

Caramel Brownies Directions

  1. Mix together, cake mix, melted butter and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Place 1/2 of the dough in bottom of 9x13 pan, bake at 350 for 6 minutes
  2. In microwave, melt caramels, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each time, until smooth. Spread over dough in pan, sprinkle with chips and nuts, spread the rest of the dough over top.
  3. Bake 18 minutes more.
  4. This is best made the day before or refridgerated at least 30 minutes before serving
