3 cup(s) flour
1 tablespoon(s) yeast
1/4 cup(s) warm water
2 tablespoon(s) sugar
1 tablespoon(s) butter
2 teaspoon(s) dill seed
1 tablespoon(s) minced dried onion
1 egg
1 cup(s) cottage cheese, warm
1/4 teaspoon(s) baking soda

Dill Onion Bread Directions

  1. In saucepan, warm cottage cheese and butter, dill seed, onion, sugar, and salt just til butter is melted, stirring constantly.
  2. In bowl combine half of the flour, the yeast and baking soda, pour cottage cheese mixture over and mix well, add the egg.
  3. Add in enough flour, up to 3 cups to make a moderately soft dough, not too sticky. Cover and let rise til doubled
  4. Form into loaf and place in loaf pan. Cover, let rise, Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Remove from pan, butter top of loaf and
