1 cup(s) wheat
2 1/2 cup(s) water
1 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon(s) chili powder
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
2 teaspoon(s) beef bullion powder
3 green onions, chopped

Spanish Fried Rice Directions

  1. Bring wheat, water and salt to a boil. Cook for 20-30 minutes or until tender. Drain and rinse, drain again and press to remove as much liquid as possible.
  2. In skillet cook onion until golden brown, than add wheat. Toss lightly, add remaining ingredients, mix and serve
  3. Add veggies if you like or some cooked ground beef, better yet add last night steak, cup up or last nights left over pot roast, and make a meal of it.
