Apple Coffee Cake with Crumble Topping and Brown Sugar Glaze

Recipe is courtesy of Emeril Lagasse. I found it online and having many apples on hand decided to try something new. It's really good! It's quite a moist cake, almost pudding line and is good warm or cold.

Apple Coffee Cake with Crumble Topping and Brown Sugar Glaze Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degree F. Lightly grease a 13x9 baking dish with butter or baking spray like Pam.
  2. Ina a large bowl, cream together 1/2 cup butter and 1 1/2 cup brown sugar til light and fluffy. Add the eggs 1 at a time, beating after the addition of each. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, 1 tsp cinnamon, and salt. Add to the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream and 1 tsp vanilla. Fold in the apples. Pour into the prepared baking dish, spreading out to
