2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
1 cup(s) chopped onions
2 medium garlic cloves, chopped
4 tablespoon(s) tomato paste
1 cup(s) beef broth
2 tablespoon(s) chili powder
1 tablespoon(s) smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon(s) cumin
1/4 teaspoon(s) dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon(s) coriander
1/2 teaspoon(s) your favorite hot sauce

Enchilada sauce Directions

  1. Saute onions in oil over medium heat for 4 minutes or until translucent. Add garlic and saute for one minute. Add tomato paste and saute for an additional minute.
  2. Add all other ingredients and bring to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes to blend flavors.
  3. with an emulsion blender or a blender, puree until smooth
  4. Yield: about 2 cups
