Shortbread Cookies
These are good on their own, but even better if you dunk 1/2 of each one in melted chocolate!

3/4 pound(s) butter, real |
1 cup(s) sugar |
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla |
3 1/2 cup(s) flour |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt |
Shortbread Cookies Directions
- Cream butter and sugar, add vanilla
- Add flour and salt, mix well but do not over mix
- Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for a couple hours to overnight
- Roll 1/2 inch thick, cut into whatever shape you want
- Bake 2-25 min, just until the edges are beginning to brown.
- Cool completely
