1 medium white onion, diced |
3 cloves garlic, minced |
1 red pepper, diced |
6 eggs |
1/3 cup(s) milk |
20 ounce(s) bag of frozen hash browns, thawed |
2 cup(s) shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese |
1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper |
Breakfast Casserole with sausage hashbrowns and eggs Directions
- Heat oven to 350
- In a pan, cook the sausage, crumbling with spoon. Remove from pan keeping about 1 tbls of grease in the pan and discard the rest
- Add onion and red pepper to pan and saute for 5 min, add garlic and cook til it smells good - add to the sausage
- Add the hash browns and 1 1/2 C cheese to the sausage and stir to combine
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk and black pepper til combined. Add to the hash brown mixture and stir to combine
- Pour into a 9x13 baking dish
