2 onions, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 tablespoon(s) oil
1 teaspoon(s) pepper
1 tablespoon(s) thyme

Split Pea Pate Directions

  1. Cover peas with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 35 minutes. Drain
  2. Saute onion and garlic in oil. Add to peas with spices and cook for 10 minutes more, stirring constantly and mashing peas as you go.
  3. Place mixture in a breac tin to mold, cover with platic wrap and cool.
  4. When ready to serve, serve with crackers
