Walnut Carrot Cake Directions
- Grease 3 - 9 inch layer cake pans well. Sprinkle each with about 2 1/2 tbsp walnuts to coat.
- Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Combine sugar, eggs, oil and spices. Beat until light and well mixed. Add half of the flour mixture, stir until well blended. Add milk, then remaining flour. Stir in carrots and nuts.
- Divide batter equally into pans. Bake a t 350 about 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool, turn cakes out, frost with buttercream or cream cheese frosting
