Chocolate cake ice cream roll
We made tons of these to serve at a wedding reception. We used this recip but filled the rolls with several flavors of ice cream. It was a huge hit!

3/4 cup(s) flour
1/4 cup(s) cocoa
1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
3 eggs
1 cup(s) sugar
1/2 cup(s) sour cream
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla

Chocolate cake ice cream roll Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350. Line a 15x10x1 pan with waxed paper, spray paper with cooking spray
  2. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt, set aside
  3. In mixer beat eggs 5 minutes, add sugar slowly, Mix in sour cream and vanilla, add dry ingredients, beating just until smooth
  4. Pour into prepared pan, spread out to the corners
  5. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees
  6. Invert onto tea towel sprinkled with powdered sugar. Carefully remove wax paper and roll up in towel for 10 minutes. Remove from towel and roll up in a
