This works great for cinnamon rolls. We've made it in the shape of christmas trees, sunbursts, whatever. This also works great for dinner rolls

2 tablespoon(s) yeast
1/2 cup(s) water
1 1/2 cup(s) warm milk
1/2 cup(s) sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup(s) softened or melted butter
2 teaspoon(s) salt
7 cup(s) flour

  1. Dissolve yeast into warm water, add milk, sugar, eggs, melted butter and salt.
  2. Stir well. Add enough flour, up to 7 cups to make a soft dough. Mix well after each cup of flour and knead for a few minutes. Remember that this is a soft dough, it's better to have it a little sticky than too stiff. Altitude and humidity can make a difference in how much flour you need. You can add flour as you need to keep it from being too sticky.
