I can this in 1/2 pints and give it away for Christmas with a loaf of fresh baked bread or a dozen rolls. Makes me very popular!

20 ounce(s) crushed pineapple, undrained
16 cup(s) (about 6 lbs) peeled, cored, and chopped pears
10 cup(s) sugar
1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice

Pear Honey Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook until pears are tender and mixture thickens, about 30 minutes.
  2. Transfer to sterilized jars and seal while still hot, according to canning directions
