2 cup(s) sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
1 cup(s) water
1/2 cup(s) oil
1/2 cup(s) butter
1/4 cup(s) cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 cup(s) buttermilk
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
1/2 cup(s) butter or margarine
1/3 cup(s) whipping cream
1/4 cup(s) cocoa
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
3 cup(s) powdered sugar
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
1 cup(s) finely chopped nuts

Cinnamon Chocolate Cake Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the first four ingredients.
  2. In a saucepan, combine water, oil, margarine or butter, and cocoa, bring to a boil over medium heat. Pour over dry ingredients, mix well.
  3. Add eggs, buttermilk, vanilla and baking soda, mix well.
  4. Pour into a greased and floured 15x10 baking pan. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until done.
  5. For frosting, combine 1/2 cup butter, cream, cocoa and cinnamon in a saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until butter is melted and mixture is heated
