1/2 cup(s) shortening

Moist Chocolate Cake - Grandma Hardy Directions

  1. Sift together, flour, baking powder and soda, cocoa and sugar. Add oil, postum and milk, mix at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla and beat for 2 minutes more.
  2. Pour into 2 greased and floured pans or a 9x13. Bake at 325 for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool cakes 15 minutes before removing from pans. Cool on wire racks.
  3. For icing, combine the milk and flour in a saucepan, cook until thick. Cover and refrigerate.
  4. Beat butter, shortening, sugar and vailla until creamy. Add chilled flour
