I made this up for my daughters birthday one year and it's become a family favorite

1 pkg chicken thighs, bone in and skin on
1/2 cup(s) soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon(s) ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder

Emma's Chicken Directions

  1. I usually use a package of chicken thighs that has about a dozen in it so that's what this is based on.
  2. Place the thighs in a gallon size ziplock bag
  3. Mix together soy sauce and garlic powder and ginger and pour over chicken. Place in the fridge and marinate for up to 24 hours. You can do just a couple hours but at least all day or over night gives the best flavor.
  4. Remove chicken from bag, throw away the marinade. Grill over low heat until chicken is done.
