Yummy pumpkin bars topped with cream cheese frosting! What's wrong with that?

I made these for the Hardy family Christmas dinner and it was a pretty good hit. It's a taste change from candied yams

A very old fashioned recipe, good as a side dish with beef or chicken or with a salad and good bread

Serve with berries and cream, or with some chocolate, or......well it's shortbread, so the possibilities are endless

These are good on their own, but even better if you dunk 1/2 of each one in melted chocolate!

They keep really well too
